Make English
part of your week.
A practical starting point for interviews and everyday work. Read a short lesson, write something of your own, and say it aloud.
YOUR WEEK AT A GLANCE
Seven small steps.
Work in a notebook or your own notes app.
No signup or payment needed.
Checkmarks are saved only in this browser. They are not sent to us.
DAY 1 · INTERVIEW ENGLISH
Introduce yourself clearly
Read, then make it yours
Read: Introduce yourself with confidence ↗Write three sentences: what you do or study now, one relevant experience, and the kind of work that interests you. Keep this first version in your notebook for Day 7.
Say it aloud
Say your introduction twice. On the second attempt, look at just three keywords instead of reading every word.
DAY 2 · INTERVIEW ENGLISH
Give evidence of a strength
Read, then make it yours
Read: Explain your strengths with evidence ↗Choose one strength you can honestly explain. Write a sentence naming it, a sentence describing a real action, and a sentence explaining how it could help in a role.
Say it aloud
Answer “What is one of your strengths?” aloud. Use your example to explain the strength instead of repeating the same adjective.
DAY 3 · EVERYDAY GRAMMAR
Make a polite request
Read, then make it yours
Read: Make a polite, clear request ↗Rewrite “Give me the details” as a clear request. Name the details you need. Add a realistic deadline only if the situation needs one.
Say it aloud
Practise asking the request, then reply as a colleague who can help. Try a second reply offering a different time.
DAY 4 · WORKPLACE ENGLISH
Use words for your working day
Read, then make it yours
Read: Five words for your working day ↗Choose three words from the lesson: deadline, clarify, update, prioritise, and feedback. Write a short message using them in a situation from work, study, or volunteering.
Say it aloud
Explain each chosen word in your own words, then read your message aloud as if speaking to a teammate.
DAY 5 · WORKPLACE ENGLISH
Write an email with a clear next step
Read, then make it yours
Read: Write a clear professional email ↗Draft an email asking a colleague to review a document. Include a useful subject, a short greeting, the part to review, a realistic deadline, and a closing.
Say it aloud
Read the message aloud. Shorten any sentence that is difficult to say or that repeats information.
DAY 6 · WORKPLACE ENGLISH
Ask a focused clarification question
Read, then make it yours
Read: Clarify instructions before you begin ↗Imagine being asked to “prepare a summary”. Write one question about a missing detail, such as length, audience, or deadline. Then write a sentence confirming your understanding.
Say it aloud
Practise both sides of a short conversation: ask your question, answer it, and confirm what you will do next.
DAY 7 · YOUR WEEK IN REVIEW
Review, practise, and choose what comes next
Start your review
Take the mixed practice quiz ↗Take the mixed five-question quiz and read each explanation. Revisit a lesson recommended by the results, then rewrite your Day 1 introduction using what you have practised.
Say it aloud
Say your revised introduction without reading the full script. Compare it with your first version: notice one improvement and one thing to practise again.
KEEP SOMETHING YOU CAN USE
Your next week starts
with what you need.
Keep the sentences that are useful to you. Repeat an activity, or choose a learning path below for more practice.
